Need a cellist? I’m your Maine man.
About me
I picked up cello in 6th grade after moving to Colorado from Maine. Over the course of my training with acclaimed cellists Gal Faganel, Alistair MacRae, and Elizabeth Simpkin, as well as exceptional musicians from the music education nonprofit, Off the Hook Arts, I found inspiration in the works of classical composers and modern-day artists like Johannes Moser, 2Cellos, Mike Block, and Kevin Olusola.
In high school, I picked up the loop pedal after seeing a YouTube video featuring a street violinist who played self-accompanied versions of popular songs on his electric violin. I started busking in the Old Town area of downtown Fort Collins and nowadays you’ll occasionally find me on the streets of Portland’s Old Port using my loop pedal to add musical and percussive layers to my arrangements of your favorite tunes.
I play both electric and acoustic cellos and I’ve performed for many venues, including weddings, nonprofit fundraisers, retirement homes, and private functions. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a client appreciation dinner, gala, staff celebration, or any professional event where you want to create a memorable atmosphere, I bring the perfect blend of classical elegance and contemporary versatility.
If you’re looking for an accomplished and versatile cellist, I’m your Maine Man!
